Choose weekly, bi-weekly, every three weeks or monthly Standard Cleaning, with routine dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen cleaning and bathroom cleaning across supported locations in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta.
Your first clean is charged at the regular one-time rate. From the second visit onward, your recurring cleaning discount applies based on the frequency you choose. If your home needs extra attention before beginning a maintenance schedule, a deep clean can be a useful first visit.

How much does a bi-weekly cleaning service cost?
Bi-weekly cleaning receives a 15% recurring discount from the second visit onward. Your first visit is charged at the regular applicable rate.
For example, a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home (1,000 to 1,499 sq ft) is $248 for the first standard clean and $210.80 per visit bi-weekly, before tax, in our lowest-priced areas ($10 more before the discount in Toronto, Ottawa and our Alberta and BC areas). Your exact price depends on your location, bedrooms, bathrooms, home size and extras, and is shown before you confirm your booking.
How do the recurring cleaning discounts work?
Current recurring cleaning discounts are 20% for weekly cleaning, 15% for bi-weekly cleaning, 12.5% for cleaning every three weeks, and 10% for monthly cleaning.
The recurring rate begins from the second visit. Your first visit is charged at the regular applicable rate.
What does a weekly cleaning service include?
Recurring Standard Cleaning bookings follow Hellamaid's room-by-room standard checklist. Typical tasks include dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning mirrors, wiping kitchen counters, cleaning the sink, stovetop and microwave, wiping appliance exteriors, and cleaning bathrooms.

How often should I have my house cleaned?
The best cleaning frequency depends on your household, home size and how quickly mess, dust and pet hair build up. Weekly cleaning can work well for busy households or homes with children or pets, while bi-weekly cleaning keeps most homes on top of dust, floors and bathrooms.
Cleaning every three weeks provides a middle ground between bi-weekly and monthly visits, while monthly cleaning can suit smaller or lower-traffic homes that still want a regular professional clean.
Should my first recurring visit be a deep clean?
If your home hasn't had a professional cleaning in a while or needs more detailed attention, starting with a deep cleaning service can help prepare the home for ongoing maintenance.
Deep Cleaning includes additional detailed tasks such as baseboards, cabinet exteriors, and door and window frames that aren't part of the regular Standard Cleaning checklist.
Will the same cleaner come every time?
You can request the same cleaner in your booking notes or client portal, and Hellamaid will do its best to match recurring visits with your preferred cleaner.
The same cleaner isn't guaranteed because availability, scheduling, holidays and other circumstances can change. If your preferred cleaner isn't available, another vetted Hellamaid cleaner may be assigned.
Can I skip, reschedule, pause or cancel recurring cleaning?
Yes. You can skip, pause or reschedule through your client portal or by contacting Hellamaid. Give at least 24 hours' notice; changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a $45 CAD late cancellation fee.
Do I need to be home for recurring cleaning?
No. You don't need to be home as long as the cleaner has a reliable way to access the property. This can include a door code, lockbox or concierge.
Add clear access instructions to your booking so the cleaner can enter safely. You're also welcome to be home during the appointment if you prefer.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
No. Hellamaid cleaners bring the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment, including a vacuum and mop.
Prefer eco-friendly products, or want the cleaner to use products you provide? Add it to your booking notes before the appointment, at no extra charge.
Can I add extras to a recurring cleaning visit?
Yes. Optional extras can be added when needed. Current examples include:

- Interior windows and tracks: pricing varies by quantity

When am I charged for recurring cleaning?

What if I'm not happy with a recurring clean?
Hellamaid's 100% Happiness Guarantee applies to cleaning concerns. If something included in your booked cleaning was missed, contact Hellamaid within 24 hours.
The concern will be reviewed and, when it falls within the booked service scope, Hellamaid can arrange an appropriate resolution such as a re-clean.
