Hellamaid's spring cleaning services use our Deep Clean package: everything in a standard clean, plus the areas a regular visit doesn't cover, like baseboards, window sills, window frames and door frames.
A deep clean is recommended for a first clean, or for a home that hasn't been professionally cleaned in a while. Already on a regular schedule? A standard clean may be enough. Want the inside of the fridge, oven or cabinets done too? Add them when you book.

Baseboards
Baseboards are cleaned in every room, including the kitchen and bathrooms.
Window sills and frames
Sills and frames are wiped. Interior glass with tracks is an add-on, $39 to $99.
Door frames
Door frames are wiped down as part of the deep clean.
Kitchen extras
Cabinet exteriors and the backsplash are cleaned, on top of the counters, sink, stovetop and microwave.
Under furniture
Reachable areas under furniture are cleaned. Heavy items aren't moved.
Fridge, oven and cabinets
Inside the fridge and inside the oven are $29 each. Inside cabinets are $39.

Your cleaner brings the supplies and equipment, including a vacuum and mop.

What is the difference between spring cleaning and deep cleaning?
At Hellamaid they are the same package. A spring clean is our deep clean, booked in spring. A deep clean is recommended for a first clean, or for a home that hasn't been professionally cleaned in a while. If your home is already cleaned on a regular schedule, a standard clean may be enough.
How much does it cost to spring clean a house?
A spring clean is the standard price for your home plus $99 for the Deep Clean package. Before tax:
- 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, under 1,000 sq ft: $277
- 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1,000 to 1,499 sq ft: $347
- 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1,500 to 1,999 sq ft: $387

Is the inside of the oven, fridge and cabinets included?
No. They are add-ons for every cleaning type: inside fridge +$29, inside oven +$29 and inside cabinets +$39. Choose them when you book, or add them later in your client portal.
Do you clean windows, vents and ceiling fans?
Window sills and window frames are part of the deep clean. Interior windows with tracks are an add-on ($39 to $99, by number of windows), and blinds are $8 per window. Vents and ceiling fans are part of a Move-In/Move-Out clean, not a standard or deep clean. Exterior windows aren't included in any clean.
How long does a spring clean take?
It depends on the size of your home, the type of clean, the number of cleaners and the condition of the space. As a guide, a standard clean of a 3-bedroom home takes one cleaner about 2.5 to 3.5 hours. A deep clean covers more, so allow extra time.
When should I book a spring clean?
Book online for the date and time that suits you. We recommend booking 2 to 4 days ahead for the best availability. Last-minute and next-day cleans may be available, depending on your city.
Do I need to be home during the spring clean?
No. Your cleaner only needs a way in, like a door code, lockbox or concierge. Leave clear entry instructions when you book. You're welcome to be home too.
Do you have spring cleaning specials?
From time to time we offer seasonal promotions or limited-time discounts. The standing way to save is a recurring plan after your spring clean: 20% off weekly, 15% off bi-weekly, 12.5% off every three weeks or 10% off monthly, from your second clean.
What is the cancellation policy for a spring clean?
Reschedule or cancel for free with at least 24 hours' notice. Within 24 hours of the clean, a $45 late cancellation fee may apply to compensate your cleaner. Your card is pre-authorized when you book, and payment is only processed after the clean is done.
