Condo buildings have rules. Elevator protection pads, concierge sign-in, restricted parking for service vehicles, noise bylaws after certain hours. For years now, we have worked within those constraints across high-rises in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. A cleaner who has never worked in a condo building takes longer and causes friction with building management. That costs the client time.
The units themselves are different too. Quartz countertops, engineered hardwood, and glass shower enclosures are the standard finishes in most newer Canadian condo builds. Each surface needs a different product. Using the wrong one on quartz leaves a film. Using the wrong one on engineered hardwood swells the planks. We match the product to the surface on every visit. That is non-negotiable for us.

Absolutely not. We believe we should earn your business every single visit. There are zero contracts, no hidden commitments, and no cancellation fees. You can skip, pause, or cancel your recurring schedule anytime using your online account.
Yes! Building a relationship of trust is key. From your second visit onward, we assign a dedicated professional to your home. If your regular cleaner is sick or on vacation, we will always notify you and offer to send a trusted substitute or reschedule.
The first clean is considered an initial "reset." It takes a little more time to get your home up to Hellamaid's strict baseline standard, so it is billed at the regular rate. Your volume discounts automatically kick in starting from your second visit.
Most of our recurring clients are not home during the clean! You can leave a spare key, provide a lockbox code, or give us a smart-lock pin. You can securely add these entry instructions directly to your booking profile.
Life happens! If you are going on vacation or just need to skip a scheduled visit, simply log into your Hellamaid account online and adjust your schedule. As long as you give us standard 24-hour notice, there are no penalties whatsoever.
Nope! Our team arrives fully equipped with premium products, microfibre cloths, and vacuums. If you have a specific product you would prefer us to use on a delicate surface, just leave it out and add a note to your account.
The more often we clean, the less time it takes us to maintain the home. Because of this, Weekly visits receive a 20% discount, Bi-Weekly receives 15%, and Monthly receives 10%. These discounts apply automatically to every visit after your initial clean.
We love pets! Recurring cleans are actually the best way to manage pet hair and dander. Just let us know you have pets when booking so we can assign a pet-friendly cleaner and ensure they use pet-safe products in your home.
